We depart from Ulcinj at 06:00 to avoid heavy border traffic and enjoy a smooth start to the day. After crossing into Albania, we arrive in the heart of Shkodër, one of the oldest and most charming cities in the Balkans. The day begins with a morning coffee in the city center, included in the price, before we start our guided walking tour.
During the city walk, you will discover some of Shkodër’s most important landmarks, including St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Ebu Beker Mosque, Rruga Kolë Idromeno, Rruga Gjuhadol, and the area around the Historical Museum / Oso Kuka House. We do not enter any museums on this tour, but the walk gives you a rich impression of Shkodër’s architecture, religious diversity, local atmosphere, and cultural identity.
After exploring the city center, we continue to the famous Rozafa Castle, the symbol of Shkodër and one of Albania’s most impressive historical sites. The entrance ticket to Rozafa Castle is included in the price. From the castle, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Shkodër, the Buna, Drin, and Kir rivers, and the surrounding landscape.
After visiting Rozafa Castle, we continue to a carefully selected riverside restaurant, where guests can relax, enjoy a drink, or have lunch if they wish. Lunch and drinks are not included in the tour price and are paid directly by guests at the restaurant. The average lunch price is approximately €15–€20 per person.
The final part of the tour takes us to Shiroka, a peaceful lakeside village on the shore of Lake Shkodër. Here, you will have time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the calm beauty of one of the region’s most scenic natural areas.
After this relaxing final stop, we return to Ulcinj with new memories, beautiful impressions, and lasting moments from our day in Shkodër.

- This tour can be booked until 12:00 noon for the following day, as one-day travel health insurance for Albania must be arranged before departure.
- Please arrive in front of the agency at least 15 minutes before departure.

- The tour is planned to last up to 8 hours, but the exact duration may depend on border traffic and road conditions.
- Comfortable shoes are recommended for Rozafa Castle.
